Intro to Chapter XXIII

´´Why do people need couple’s therapy? Is it really easier to reveal your true feelings to your spouse while somebody else is watching? Does the whole experience become more intense if it is made to look as putting on a show for someone else? A lot of people think that the therapist’s presence in the room works like a buffer and that by physically being in a neutral place, the office, they are safe to say whatever they have on their mind or in their heart. But once the words leave one’s lips, they are out there and they can both heal and hurt others. One can leave the therapist’s office either healed or completely damaged. In couple’s therapy the victim number raises to two.´´

The action takes place in London – UK and it’s surroundings.
The SPLIT – A modern mystery novel about a detective injured in the line of duty who has to both deal with his depression during psychotherapy and solve the murders involving his strange new therapist.
